Happy weekend to all of you! My wish for everyone this weekend is that you have some time to laze about and do nothing. Why? Because it's good for your brain and for your kids' brains. All too often, we pack the weekends with extra activities and social events. This can be wonderful, but allowing for time-- even 5 minutes-- to daydream and cuddle without any books, screens, or other stimulation has proven to increase brain function and weekday productivity. So go ahead and do nothing!
